For example, a Windows installation of ArcGIS Desktop can obtain a license from either a Windows or Linux 10.5.1 license manager. To use ArcGIS 10.5.1 Concurrent-Use software, you must install and use a 10.5.1 License Manager.ĪrcGIS licenses can be served from a Windows or Linux license manager. The number of concurrent-use licenses in your license file determines the number of users who can simultaneously run the software product. The license manager allows you to install and use concurrent-use versions of these products on as many machines as you want. A license manager is required to administer the ArcGIS Concurrent Use installations of ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Engine, and their extensions. ![]()
